The PossAble Dream Adult High School was recognized during the City of Pharr’s State of the City address on January 15, 2026, at the Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg, highlighting the school’s impact on adult learners.
The city acknowledged The PossAble Dream during the ceremony for expanding educational opportunity by helping residents return to school, earn their high school diploma and complete industry-recognized certifications that prepare them for high-demand careers.
The school was also recognized for its partnership in the City of Pharr’s broadband workforce initiative, Pharr Connect U — a tuition-free training program funded through the state’s Building the Texas Broadband Workforce Grant Program. The initiative prepares residents for careers in fiber broadband and digital infrastructure through classroom instruction, hands-on training internships, and job placement support.
Through this collaboration, The PossAble Dream and partners are helping connect adult learners to emerging workforce pathways that strengthen both economic mobility and regional infrastructure.
